British designer Antonio Berardi introduced the revolutionary shoe design in his Spring/Summer 2008 Collection in Paris. Despite having no heels and a massive 5 1/2 inch platform, models worked them like heels never existed. Gwyneth Paltrow, Uma Thurman and, of course, Victoria Beckham all invested in a statement pair of Berardis. The price for the Antonio Berardi heel-less heel experience? $3600.
