This time 3 years ago, brazilian beauty Adriana Lima declared she won’t have sex before marriage in her interview with the GQ magazine. Read on after our favourite GQ editorial photo.
Are you a one-guy woman?
Of course! I’m a Catholic.
Look, I’m Catholic, too, but there’s a lot of things about the church that make it hard to date within its rules, don’t you think?
Like what?
Birth control, premarital sex…
Well, you know, sex is just for after marriage.
Say what?
Sex is for after marriage.
You mean you’ve never had sex?
That’s why I have to say.
You sure about this?
Yes.
The whole interview was a little bizarre and a little funny.
Last year Lima’s marital status has upgraded to engaged. Who’s the lucky bastard you ask. His name is Marko Jaric and this all we’re going to say about him (not worth the space on this website)… Alright, we know you want a photo.

Dolce & Gabbana has tapped the voluptuous Scarlett Johansson for the face of their first cosmetics collection *yawn*, which was photographed in a studio in London by Sølve Sundsbø and had input from legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath.

Dolce & Gabbana Cosmetics (foundation ad)
McGrath developed 3 looks that epitomise the line:
- Lustful Lips, inspired by a silver screen siren with dark ruby lips and nails
- Provacative Eyes, a smoky eye and pale lips
- Sensually Natural, a pared-back look of neutral hues
The make-up will be packaged in weighty metal glossy gold with rounded edges and slipped into black velvet pouches (how original!). Colours are taking inspiration from the Mediterranean. The lipsticks are perfumed with a trademark rose scent and mascara with a peppery (wtf?) olfactory note.

The collection will launch initially at the luxury Italian department store La Rinascente’s, then later in March at Selfridges of London and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Following the footsteps of her hubby, Victoria stripped to the bare minimum for Emporio Armani underwear Spring/Summer 2009 ad campaign.

Emporio Armani Underwear S/S 2009
For a guaranteed success, Armani hired the dynamic photographer duo – Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott (who shot David too) to create Elizabeth Taylor in the 50s feel with a touch of film noir high glam.
Giorgio said in a statement he chose the 34-year-old British mother of three as the new face and body of his lingerie line because she is a “stylish and intriguing woman.”
Signature billboards will take place in every fashion capital of the world – NYC, London, Milan, Rome, Paris and Tokyo, as well as the pages of high-end fashion glossies.
Let see if this campaign will send fans into overdrive like David’s did.

Longchamp S/S 2009
No stranger to the infamous Longchamp campaigns, the indomitable it-girl Kate Moss had to share the limelight this year with the current Russian it-girl Sasha Pivivarova.
Shot in Los Angeles by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, the striking photo series features Kate Moss and Sasha Pivovarova against a retro green wall dressed in pieces from its 12-piece spring collection. Focused on outerwear, the line ranges from a silk and cotton blouse to a sporty linen trench in the house’s iconic LM horse print.
“The ideas is to create key items you can mix with everything,” said Sophie Delafontaine, Longchamps’ artistic director. Codes from the house’s leather goods lines surface across the designs, distributed in Longchamp’s 100 doors worldwide, such as bamboo toggles and leather trims.

Louis Vuitton Skateboard
On Friday 9 January, Louis Vuitton launched a bright and funky collection inspired by Stephen Sprouse at their New York SoHo store. The skateboard pictured above is one of the two limited edition pieces and can be yours for only $8,250… and yes, the trunk is included.

“I tried to take what Stephen had done at Vuitton and then kind of flip it in my head, and make it Vuitton’s work for Stephen, not Stephen’s work for Vuitton,” Jacobs said. “I just felt it was a funny way to play with it, to pretend to be Sprouse for a bit, and use the work that he did, and then bring it back to the work that he did before I collaborated with him.”

The Punk Glamour God himself
Named ‘the design pioneer’ by NY Times and known as the ‘child’ of Andy Warhol, Stephen Sprouse died at 50 from the heart failure – he had a very brief, but indeed a saturated life. We found a lengthy but interesting article on Sprouse’s life, career and art.

Plastic Fantastic
Just in time for the recession, Roberto Cavalli introduced an exclusive credit card. Mr. “Excess is Success” appears to be laughing in the face of the global economy crisis as he looks to continue his world domination plans. In December he opened the Cavalli Club in Florence (pictured below) and has now revealed aims to venture into finance.

Cavalli Club, a renovated 15th century church in Florence
It will be Cavalli’s second attempt at designing a credit card, after his big splash with Holt Renfrew card from American Express in late 2003. The card, set to go global on March 1, will offer special VIP services at every Cavalli boutique worldwide as well as special sale privileges. Exclusive invitations to fashion shows and events are the tip of the diamond iceberg of Cavalli card benefits.
“Created for those who thrive upon excellence, elegance and quality,” the iridescent snakeskin-printed card will give your party-hopping friends and black Amex a run for their money, literally.

Spring/Summer 2009 Louis Vuitton campaign
What at the first glance looks like a D&G ad, is peek-a-boo at the Spring/Summer 2009 Louis Vuitton campaign, which will break in the February issues of magazines worldwide.
“I wanted the campaign to be very bold, very sensual and very atmospheric. To carry off all these references and all this sophistication, we needed the ultimate performer – and for me, that is Madonna” says Marc Jacobs.
Marc Jacobs has transformed the material girl into the quintessential Parisienne and Steven Meisel photographed her in a sepia-toned setting reminiscent of a Paris café in the 1940s.
