Being a bit of a numbers freak, I believe it would have been epic to celebrate 9th birthday on the 9/09/09, but I guess Sydney’s glitterati couldn’t wait another week to party it up at the Hemmesphere’s 9th birthday bash.
Birthday Cake!
Who else other than Sydney party king himself, Justin Hemmes, can throw a soiree where ladies wear just enough shiny sequins and beads to cover their lady bits? I personally was a little over-dressed in my animal-print Roberto Cavalli number, which initially felt like the perfect outfit for a ‘Moroccan Desert Madness’ theme of the night.
At one stage I wasn’t sure if my eyes were squinting from the non-stopping chain of orange rose martinis or the smooth and shiny chest of a new-age Aladdin, who much like Queen Scheherazade from ‘1001 Nights’ kept telling never-ending stories about his err.. Ferrari.
