Dubbed as the world’s most exclusive supercar show, Top Marques Monaco is the only place on Earth where you can experience the latest state-of-the-art machines with test drives on the Formula 1 circuit. Car afficionados can’t beat the sensation of manoeuvring the Racasse corner in a Koenigsegg Agera R – BBC’s Top Gear Hyper Car of the Year and a Guinness Book of World Records holder.
It does a thrilling 0-300 km/h in 14.53 seconds. Nor will they be able to resist the staggering power of the Roding Roadster whose entire chassis is constructed with the highest grade carbon fiber, combined with a BMW 6 turbo engine.
And best news of all, Top Marques Monaco will launch the world premiere of the stunning, handbuilt Renovatio T 500 from Tushek in Slovenia.
At Top Marques one can really experience a car: you can touch and feel the pure power and precision of the supercars; the arresting fumes of petrol ready to burn and the anticipation of powerful engines revving into action in the test drive pits dominate the show. To top that off, it isn’t just staggeringly beautiful cars that will be on the display, but also sleekly designed Superboats with cutting-edge design and speed to match and unashamedly attractive, unique and expensive watches.
One powerboat in particular that we are keen to eye-witness is the otherworldly Spire Boat Concept designed by one of our favourite French fashion designers. For someone who has designed perfumes, make-up and fashion with a strong fetishist bent, Thierry Mugler certainly produced a remarkable effort in reimagining this 100 mph 31-foot speedboat with electric coupe roof.
The FT goes on to say that “Top Marques is shamelessly aimed at a super-rich clientele” and this year we’ve got a 10 tickets to giveaway to our readers. The first to email chloe@hautetoday.com will receive their invitation.

The Antibes Yacht Show marks the beginning of the new Mediterranean yachting season. The first major boat show of the season took place in Europe’s largest marina – Port Vauban in Antibes.
Antibes needs no introduction – it is the homeport of some of the world’s largest private yachts including Roman Abramovich’s 86m Ecstasea, Eugene Shvidler’s 113m Le Grand Bleu whilst Paul Allen’s 126m Octopus is a regular visitor to the harbour.
Dedicated to the brokerage and charter of larger yachts, the event showcased about 150 of them both motor and sailing with some state-of-the-art technology and experienced craftsmanship. We spent some time discovering the exhibitors and selected a handful that really got our attention. Here’s who has made the list:

In its 6th year, Antibes Yacht Show 2012 was a great success and here’s a little taste of what it’s all about:
Competing with the Antibes Yacht Show was Antibes Art Fair (running until 23rd April 2012) not only for attention but also for the parking, so here’s our big tip for the next show: instead of fighting for the parking in Port Vauban or the old town, head straight to Fort Carré and enjoy your complimentary boat shuttle. You will arrive to the show in style walking the red carpet all the way to the ticket office. Voilà!

If you’re still looking for an excuse to attend Geneva Motor Show this year, look no further. Please be upstanding for the most powerful factory-built roadster in the history – Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse (which means ‘Speed’ in French). It combines the ultimate performance enhancements of the Super Sport coupe with the open-top appeal of the conventional Grand Sport convertible.

Just like everything that Bugatti does with the Veyron lately, the Grand Sport Vitesse is completely ridiculous and over-the-top. According to Bugatti, the model is considered the most powerful serial produced convertible in the world, boasting of a monstrous 16-cylinder engine that produces an output of 1,200 horsepower. In order to accommodate the increased pony output, Bugatti engineers carefully modified the car’s chassis while also adding four enlarged turbochargers and intercoolers to the car’s overall technical equation.
Those numbers are Veyron-like, too, which is to say that they’ll sell of around €2 million.

Pagani doesn’t intend the Zonda R Clubsport as a traditional, road-ready supercar. Instead, as with the Ferrari FXX, the R Clubsport is built exclusively for the track and is illegal for the road.
However, Pagani is more open than its fellow Italian rival and allows private ownership – if only for private track days as well special racing championships. The car was first introduced in 2007 and is expected to be in very limited production, even by Pagani standards, with a price tag equal to $1.2 million.
Understandably for a car restricted for normal roads, virtually all of the luxuries associated with normal Zondas are gone, replaced with competition-grade equipment. On the outside, the fuel filler cap and magnesium wheels are designed for quick replacement by a pit crew rather than looks.
Stepping inside, drivers are greeted with a roll cage and racing seats in place of the leather interior of the road car.

Yes you read it right, a whole amazing island built right on a beautiful yacht. Created by UK-based yacht design company Yacht Island Designs, bringing a whole island onto a yacht.
The design as you can see is inspired by tropical islands with huts, a pool and a whole volcano that is sure not to erupt. Since this is a yacht, it comes packed with special VIP rooms, arcades, gym, lounges, spas and obviously a helipad.
The volcano adds a lot of beauty to the whole look of the yacht, it also happens to have water flowing out of it onto the pool creating this amazing river complementing the whole tropical look.
The back of the yacht has a retractable beach deck where structures float on the sea making the sea accessible to swim in and of course grant access to various water activities like wake boarding and jet-skis.
The whole concept is pure genius and the result looks Haute!
